Kasi grew up in the Texas panhandle and has lived in central Texas for over 25 years. Kasi served as outside legal counsel to investors, owners and operators of commercial real estate assets in the development, acquisition and disposition of real property, financing transactions, and organization and negotiation of joint ventures for 20 years as a shareholder at the Austin law firm of Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where she represented members of the NXSTEP team. She most recently served as the Chief Legal Officer of a multibillion-dollar real estate management and investment company. Kasi attended Texas Tech University and received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law. Kasi supports Foundation Communities, an Austin grown nonprofit, that provides affordable housing to families with kids, veterans, seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Kasi lives in Austin with her husband, Brian, and their daughter.
