Scott is the founder of Coterie Investments, a family office that invests alongside a select group of private capital firms and operating companies. Over his career, he has partnered with firms including Austin Ventures, AV Capital, CIC Partners, Evolution Strategy Partners, Harris Preston & Partners, NextGen Growth Partners, NxStep Opportunity Partners, and Old Hickory Partners. He has served on the boards of directors of numerous operating companies across industrial services, specialty manufacturing, and building products, including BenefitMall, Delta Rigging & Tools, Encore Dredging Partners, ENTACT Environmental Services, Kovach Building Enclosures, Magnablend, Sterling Foods, Surveying and Mapping, and VIVA Railings. Scott holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.

Scott lives in Austin with his family.
