Gerardo Gomez de la Sierra is a 16-year Central Texas transplant from the Northern Mexico/Texas Border. He is the founder of Altamira Capital Management, an investment manager focused on futures, forex, and options. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and has a background in derivative trading strategies. Gerardo has invested in and held co-management roles for McDonald Development Group’s real estate projects for over a decade, including deal sourcing, fundraising, investor relations, diligence, and strategy. He has a BBA in finance from St. Edwards University, where he was also a tennis team member.
