Joe is a Co-Founder of Austin Ventures and has over 40 years of experience in venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) investing. He has a successful track record investing in various industries, including software, services, industrials, and special situations. Joe was previously the Founder & Chairman of NXSTEP Capital Holdings and the former chairman of The National Venture Capital Association. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Harvard College. Joe serves on the Board of The Livestrong Foundation and Casa Montessori.
